About Jack & Denise:
The McKays have been involved with Dobermans for 30 years and have faced
many nutritionally related issues with their dogs. Over the years,
several of their dogs developed allergies, colitis and low thyroid
function related to commercial food. Their coats were often dry and
dull, and their skin was often prone to dermatitis.
The dogs easily
developed tartar on their teeth and needed to have them scaled annually.
After hearing about the benefits of feeding raw food, and doing much
research on the subject, they made the switch to a raw food diet for
their dogs. The results were amazing! The first and most obvious change
was a decrease in the volume and odor of stools in the yard. After about
a week; the dogs didn't have any more offensive gas. As time went on,
their coats became softer and shinier, there was far less hair loss and
the skin conditions miraculously disappeared. The chewing of the raw
bones cleaned the tartar from their teeth and their breath improved
remarkably.
For the first time in years, these dogs no longer practiced
any destructive behaviors - their natural chewing needs and urges were
now being satisfied. All of these benefits were a direct result of
feeding a biologically appropriate raw food diet and the McKays would
never consider feeding any other way.
Thanks,
Denise and Jack
